Program Manager, Leadership Development & Advocacy

“A wise woman wishes to be no one’s enemy; a wise woman refuses to be anyone’s victim.” – Maya Angelou

Dominique is the program manager for community and neighborhood partnerships in West Baltimore teaching leadership, development and advocacy skills to the communities’ youth so that they can advocate for change.

Dominique is a native of Silver Spring, MD. While obtaining her degree, she worked as a learning coach for a local OST program that gave her a passion for youth development. Upon graduating, she was given the opportunity to be a Program Coordinator at a local charter school running their OST and summer programming. While in those positions, Dominique saw many deficits that she believed could only be solved from a policy level. CLIA aims to advocate, and, most importantly, teach youth to be the voice of change, two things she is very passionate about.

Dominique earned her Bachelor’s and Master’s degree in Social Work with a concentration in Urban Youth and Families from Morgan State University.

In her spare time, Dominique enjoys being a mentor to many of her former students around the city. She also enjoys traveling and making memories with her sister-friends.

Dominique is an expert at sitting calmly and letting others pamper her!
