Jabriera is the CLIA’s Youth Advocate Trainer. She facilitates CLIA’s Core Alliance of Youth Leaders’ organizing & advocacy development so they can influence change at the state and local level.
She is a youth advocate, organizer and spokeswoman on the issues of youth in adult court and juvenile justice reforms. She was a youth unnecessarily charged as an adult at the age of 16, but is now dedicating her efforts to ensuring other youth do not have to experience the challenges of being placed in adult court and/or in adult jails. She has become a leader in the juvenile justice reform movement in Baltimore, and as a national spokesperson is inspiring and educating other youth to speak up for reforms national.
She enjoy puzzles with her daughter, arts and crafts with family, and outside fun with the community.
