Board Member 

Kaelia Plunkett is a Senior Attorney Advisor at the Appeals Council in the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review for the Social Security Administration. Her work involves analyzing complex legal and policy issues that encompass the entire spectrum of case dispositions for the agency. In addition, she serves as a presenter in division-wide training classes and as a mentor for new hires.

Kaelia holds a Bachelors of Arts degree in Business Administration from Temple University and a Juris Doctorate from the University of Maryland Francis King Carey School Of Law. She is licensed to practice law in Maryland, New York, and New Jersey. Kaelia is a member of the Lord Baltimoreans Toastmasters Club and enjoys writing poems, plays and short stories. She is excited about serving on the Board because of her desire to mentor young leaders, aid them in navigating through the vicissitudes of life and strengthen their voices in a meaningful way.
