Manager, Just Kids Campaign
“Patient endurance is what you need now, so that you will continue to do God’s will. Then you will receive all that He has promised.” –Hebrews 10:35-36
Raine’s role is to help grow and further engage our coalition members in our Just Kids Campaign as well as to develop our new Speakers Bureau which will engage Maryland youth who have been charged as adults in legislative advocacy, community organizing and sharing their stories in diverse settings across the state.
Raine conducted juvenile justice research while completing her undergraduate degree, leading to opportunities to publish and present at numerous conferences. Working with youth at her church and within different public and private school systems gave her a higher interest in policy. Graduating from University of Maryland School of Social Work, she found a niche in community action, program management, advocacy and legislative policy.
She is involved in her church’s young adult, missions, and spiritual dance ministries and helped create a book club!
Raine is an expert in creating the world’s best sandwiches.
