Veronica D. Jackson is a Counsel at Miles & Stockbridge’s Baltimore office. As a part of the firm’s Labor & Employment practice group, Veronica represents employers in a broad range employment litigation and advice and counsel matters, including employment discrimination, sexual harassment, ADA and FMLA litigation, and wrongful discharge. Her assistance to clients also includes conducting internal investigations, drafting policies, and performing employee and management training.
Veronica is also a Certified Information Privacy Professional (CIPP/US) by the International Association of Privacy Professionals (IAPP). In the area of data privacy and security, Veronica counsels clients through data breach and cyber incident response efforts, including guiding clients through any necessary data breach notifications and representing clients in any subsequent regulatory and legal matters. Veronica also counsels clients regarding data security and privacy policies and provides training regarding data privacy and security best practices. Veronica serves as a Co-Chair of IAPP’s Baltimore KnowledgeNet Chapter
Veronica received her J.D from Georgetown University Law Center and was a staff editor of the Georgetown Journal of Gender & the Law. Veronica is also a proud alumna of Florida A&M University, where she was a Thurgood Marshall Scholar and received her B.S. in economics, summa cum laude. Veronica is originally from New Paltz, NY and now lives in Columbia, MD with her husband and two children.
