Meghan Casey is a Partner at the Baltimore law firm Gallagher Evelius & Jones. As a member of the firm’s Litigation and Education Groups, Meghan represents individuals and educational, non-profit, religious, and commercial entities in civil disputes in federal and state courts and in administrative proceedings.

Meghan joined Gallagher following several years of government service in Maryland, first as Deputy Legal Counsel to Governor Martin O’Malley, and then as an Assistant Attorney General in the Civil Litigation Division of the Maryland Attorney General’s Office. She previously worked as an associate at the Washington, DC law firm Williams & Connolly LLP, representing clients in complex commercial disputes and government investigations.

Meghan received a B.A. magna cum laude from Yale University and a J.D. from the University of Virginia School of Law. After graduating from law school, Meghan served as a law clerk to the Honorable J. Frederick Motz, U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, and the Honorable Norman H. Stahl, U.S. Court of Appeals for the First Circuit.
